Our association/partnership with Avon began over 9 years ago after a chance phone call. Since then we are very proud and honoured that they consider Crazy Hats to be a ‘partner’.  As a global company, Avon are renowned, not only for their products, but with their support for breast cancer care nationally and  internationally, having raised millions of pounds for the cause.  Avon have generously supported our Annual Walks and, in total, have donated well over £100,000 to help us stage each walk – our walk being recognised in the UK  part of their Walk Around the World event. Avon have also provided products for the goody bags and t-shirts. In addition, over the years, they have bought a new van for us which has had a huge impact on what we can provide; they have helped financially to set up our thriving complementary therapy service and other initiatives and regularly offer lovely raffle prizes for many of our events.  Having the backing of such a prestigious company has, undoubtedly, raised the profile of Crazy Hats and we have learned so much from their staff in relation to aiming high and setting high standards in all we do. We cannot thank them enough and hope, very much, that our partnership remains in place for many years to come.

Northamptonshire Telegraph

The Northamptonshire Telegraph is proud to have supported Crazy Hats since its launch. We are lucky enough to have known Glennis Hooper and her band of supporters for more than twelve years and honoured that Glennis continues to write a much-loved column for the newspaper. It is hard to explain in a few paragraphs just what a difference this self-confessed group of crazy ladies has made to the lives of hundreds of people in this county. The popular and by now, incredibly well known Crazy Hats charity, has raised over £2 million to help both men and women with breast cancer. But not only does the charity raise money for equipment and suchlike, it has an equally important function as a support network for those suffering from cancer. They have big plans for the future and the Telegraph will continue to do all it can to help in our own small way. Glennis and her large band of helpers deserve our full support this and every year. Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park is fondly known as the second home of Crazy Hats.  Back in 2003 when the first walk was discussed everyone knew it had to be held at Wicksteed Park.  As a child the Park was Glennis’ back garden – her mum and dad met and fell in love there! It is a very special place and is perfect for such an event. Our charity is extremely grateful to the Wicksteed family and the management team for allowing us to use their wonderful facilities year on year and for all their help and support in staging such an event. Year on year the Walks get bigger – we have been told the Park could cater up to ten times the numbers we have!  We also enjoy the Awards Nights we hold there as well as our Annual General Meetings.  Wicksteeds have made many major changes to the Park which makes it a wonderful place to take the family.  A huge thank you from us all.

Back in 2012/13 Bookers chose Crazy Hats as their charity of the year.  Financially they did us proud by raising over £28,000, but in addition we had such a great year, working with and befriending many of the employees, our team often helping out at a lot of the events they put on for us. It was great fun! Not only did they help us financially, they also provided bottled water for our Annual Walk and any other goodies for the event, together with numerous raffle prizes.  Since being their chosen charity we have kept in touch and Premier, a sister company of Bookers, has continued with the support of helping us out at our Walk and occasionally at other planned events too …… we are extremely grateful.

AO Copy Design Print

Our association with Drew, Angie and AO Copy, in general, began right at the ‘birth’ of Crazy Hats when Glennis walked in to the shop to get some photocopying done. The rest is history, as they say.  AO Copy have, year on year, helped out so much with photocopying forms etc.  for the Annual Walk and other events; a huge undertaking, saving the charity thousands of pounds. We are truly grateful for such loyal support.
